Micki and Laura were terrific instructors and really added a lot of value to the class with their own experiences. It was great practice to conduct mock press conferences and on-camera interviews for crisis scenarios. I think that a smaller class size might allow for more interaction and discussion, but overall it was a very valuable class!

An excellent course for a newer PIO. The course very thoroughly takes you through the role of the PIO at an expanding incident. Micki and Laura did an amazing job as instructors and their very real and first hand experiences contributed greatly to the learning process.

Ms Sara Spalding was the facilitator of this course and did an outstanding job incorporating the factual versus hearsay of disseminating information to the public through the media. A valuable course that is too short. Her insight and first hand knowledge on various incidental circumstances made the course educational and purposeful.
